The components reconstituted by welding preserve their efficiency much longer in comparison with the cast counterparts:

•  Reduced incidence of transverse wear ridges, which are associated with a marked reduction in milling efficiency.

•  Higher abrasion resistance, preserving the original geometry for longer times

•  Narrower and shallower abrasion profiles, so that the loss in efficiency with time is much reduced.
